Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you to the Bull Hotel in Fairford. This hotel directory will give you a through insight into all our available facilities and services. If you have any additional questions or requests, please contact one of our team members. We wish you a pleasant stay with us and we hope you enjoy your time in the Cotswolds.

Baby Cot

If you require a baby cot whilst you stay with us, please contact reception - they will be happy to set this up for you.

A small portable refrigerator can be provided for use to store chilled baby milk.

Bedroom

A good night sleep is very important. If you require additional pillows please let us know and we will accommodate. Similar, if you require a fan in warmer weather or additional heating please do let us know.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our Stables Restaurant from 7am - 10am Monday to Friday and 8am - 10am Saturday and Sunday. Please can you book in a 30 minute slot with reception if they have not already asked you on Check In and let them know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Car parking

There is free parking available in the Market Square in front of the hotel, spaces are limited however, otherwise there are spaces alongside the church on the left-hand side. Please do not park on the right-hand side of the square as this is limited to one hours parking. You may incur a penalty notice from the council if you park longer than an hour. There is also ample free parking spaces at the top of the road after the church. Please do not park in the Market Square on a Tuesday evening as we have a weekly market on a Wednesday, and they set up stalls from 5am.

Check out

Check out time is 11am - if you require a later check out or wish to extend your stay, please contact reception. Additional charges may apply for a later check out. If you wish to continue exploring our beautiful town or surrounding areas after check out time, you are welcome to store your luggage with us until required. Please note that the hotel is not liable for any personal belonging left behind.

Form of Payment

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard and Visa. If you have any questions in regard to payment methods, please contact reception.

Dining

Our Restaurant is open in the evenings Monday to Saturday from 6pm - 9pm. Sundays we are open all day until 8pm. If you wish to make a reservation, contact or head down to reception where we can allocate you a table. Our tables do get booked up quickly by our guests and non-residents, therefore we would strongly recommend booking a table upon arrival.

'Do not Disturb'

If you need some down time or a bit of privacy, please leave the 'Do not Disturb' sign on the outside door handle.

Hairdryers

Hairdryers are located in either the dressing table draw or located in the wardrobe hanging space.

Iron/Ironing board

Please ask a team member or reception and we will bring one to your room.

Lost & Found

All found items are stored in reception for 3 months. Please get in touch with reception if you are missing anything after check out.

Medical Service / Pharmacy

If you require medical help, further assistance or pharmacy opening times, please contact reception.

A small portable refrigerator can be provided to store medicine that require chilling.

Meeting Rooms

We have a number of meeting rooms available to book. For further information, please contact reception who will be able to arrange this for you.

Menus

A copy of our food and drinks menu are located in the bedroom for your convenience. Please note that we do not provide room service facilities

Out of Hours Contact

Our reception is not manned 24 hours a day. If you require assistance during opening hours, please speak to a member of our team. For emergencies only, for example require medical assistance please contact 01285 712535

Out of Hours entry into hotel

If you are planning on arriving back after the hotel is closed please follow the below instructions;

  • If you are staying in rooms 1-9, starting from the front door of the hotel please use the lit alleyway on the righthand side of the building. Walk down to the very end and take a left. Walk along the pavement and walk past the back beer garden. There will be an opening on the left that takes you around the back of the building. Please proceed through entrance, on the right you will see a ground floor fire exit door which is the night entrance for rooms 1-9. If this door is locked, the small key on your room keys will open this door for you.
  • If you are staying in rooms 10-20, please use the front door to gain access to the building. The small key on your room keys will open this door. On your right will be a staircase to access the rooms. Please follow the directional signs for your room number.
  • If you are staying in room 21, starting from the front door of the hotel please use the lit alleyway on the righthand side of the building. Walk down to the very end and take a left. Please come through the gate into the beer garden and use the ground floor back door to enter the building. The small key on your room keys will open this door for you. At the top of the corridor, you will see the staircase to your room on the right.

Personal Hygiene

We have shaving kits, dental kits and sewing kits available upon request. Please note there is a small charge for these items.

Please refrain from flushing sanitary products down our toilets, please use the hygiene bags provided and place in the waste bin located within the bathroom.

We use a lovely range of shower gel, shampoo etc for all our guests to use, we kindly ask guests not to remove these from the room. £15 per bottle will be added onto your account if we find the products missing upon check out. You are more than welcome to purchase unused bottles of our products at £10 each from reception.

Public Transport

Please contact reception for more information on how to get around the area. As we are in the heart of the Cotswolds, public transport is limited.

Smoking / Vaping

Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor areas. Smoke detectors are located in each bedroom and corridors. Please note that there is a £150 penalty fine for smoking in your room.
